WHAT IS IT?
It's something we SHOULD do. It's something we WANT to do. It's something we NEED to do. And the best part is… we’re doing it together.
Every year thousands of people promise themselves they’re going to do it this year. They’re going to read through the Bible. Or they’re going to read a little bit everyday. Or they’re just going to start fresh and do better this year. Most people don’t make it. Not even through the first month.
But this year is different. We’re going to start with something we can all handle. It’s the new year, and we’re reading the New Testament. And we’re doing it in 30 days.
Hebrews
James
From January 10th to February 7th, 30 days you will have the opportunity to read the entire New Testament. This will not be an easy thing to accomplish but the benefits will far outweigh the sacrifice.
This reading plan has been designed to walk through the New Testament chronologically. That means you will be reading the books of the New Testament in the general order that they were written. We have also built in two grace days a week so that you will have time to rest (or catch up).
This is going to be a life changing experience for all those who commit to the process and keep up with the plan. As we prepare to do this think of something(s) you may be willing to give up or fast during these 30 days. What consumes most of your free time? Maybe TV or movies, you may want to give up social media or video games or food. There are many types of fast, so pray and determine which is best for you and your family. What ever it is make a choice to make God’s word a priority in 2010!
